About Our Festival
The WV Country Roads Festival
The WV Country Roads Festival is a late summer festival held in New Martinsville, West Virginia, located in Wetzel County. In only its 3rd year, the Festival strives to create a fun, family friendly venue to enjoy the last days of Summer, just before the effects of fall start changing the color of the leaves, and the thoughts of deer hunting and pumpkin spice start running rampant in the minds of West Virginians. The mission of the Festival is to promote the history and agriculture of West Virginia in a fun, educational, and safe environment by promoting the traditions of family entertainment. It is the Festival's hope that, by achieving this mission, it will foster a sense of community unity and pride, will increase community visibility, and, ultimately, will boost the local commerce by attracting a diversity of people from, not only nearby communities, but communities throughout our great state, and beyond.
